BUSINESS BURMA VISA FOR THE US CITIZENS

Basically, when you apply for a Burma visa, you are required to have a valid passport and visa for travel to Myanmar.

Passport Requirements
Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay in Myanmar, with at least one blank passport page available for Myanmar visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Myanmar visas.
Myanmar (Burma) Visa Application Form
One original Myanmar visa application form. After placing your order, fill out the application form included in your Visa Application Kit. Include Work History form, each properly completed and signed. Applications must be printed on single pages, do not print back-to-back. Signature must be original on each form.
Photo Requirements
Two recent, identical, 2 x 2 passport photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/light background.
OR - you can upload a passport photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.
Letter of Invitation
A letter of invitation from sponsor/host Company in Myanmar explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel. In addition, your letter to apply a Burma visa must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and host’s contact information.
Business Cover Letter
Letter from employer or sponsoring company in the US, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of travel to Myanmar. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Myanmar.

Proof of Travel Arrangements
Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency, or (for independent travelers) a copy of airline ticket, or a confirmation letter from the tour operator (for package tours).
New York: A copy of the itinerary must show departure from the US, the duration of visit within Myanmar, and return to the US.
Hotel Confirmation
New York: Copy of confirmed hotel reservation(s). If staying in various hotels, please provide copies of each reservation.
Visa Validity


First time applicants are eligible only for a single entry business visa. Myanmar business visas are generally valid for three months from the date of issue and allow a single entry for a stay of up to 70 days. Applicants who have held previous Myanmar business visas are eligible to apply for a multiple entry Burma visa, copies of previous visas must be included with application.
Register your trip with the US Embassy
The US State Department strongly encourages American citizens planning international travel to register with the US Embassy(s) in the countries they plan to visit. Registration notifies the US Embassy in each country of your travel plans and enrolls you in the State Department travel advisory and warnings program.
And you should remember that non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased until all visas and passports are secured and in your possession.
